Biography

Robert was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 21, 1959. He was admitted to the Illinois bar in November 1986 and, subsequently, to the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the United States District Courts for the Northern District and Central District of Illinois.

Education

Robert received his B.A. from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1981. He received his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in 1986.

Appointments

    In January 2011, Robert was named National Litigation Counsel to the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA), the largest multi-sport association and sports tournament association in the world. Sponsoring leagues and tournaments across 47 of the United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, British Columbia, Canada, and on United States Military bases worldwide, this international sports-governing body maintains leagues in 14 different sports and counts among its membership some 502,412 teams and 5.85 million athletes.
